Nirvana Events organized the Mrs Inspirational Nepal (MINA) show in Sydney, Australia on 14 Feb. Indira Rokka was crowned the first ever MINA amidst a 700 plus audience including guests like Nima Rumba, representatives from the embassy, Australian Actors-Josh Quong Tart and Brendan Moar, CEO of Redtribe-Chris Moley, Leaders of Nepalese Community Based Organisations, Nepalese Celebrities like Sarun Tamrakar, Payal Shakya etc. Sunita Limbu Kharel was the proud runner up.

The objective of the show was to raise funds for orphanage in Nepal, help newly migrant Nepalese women take leadership role to help others in our community, promote tourism, its values and culture.

Nirvana Events, is an organizations that, aims to bridge the gap between Australia and Nepal by helping people embrace the best of each to bring out stronger breed of people called Nepalese Australians.

Speaking at the program, Founder/Director Annie Gurung informed that Nirvana Events raised $347 for the people affected by bush fire in Victoria. She also said they would be contributing the proceeds of the ticket sales to Educ-Nepal, an orphanage based in Kathmandu, Nepal.
