Few words:- I have been involved in music since
I was 7 years old. Playing the piano, singing, song writing, dancing, acting I have done it all. I have always had a dream, A Dream that one day
I would be able to share my singing/dancing/song writing talent with as many people as possible across the World.
Recently my dream started to come true after I signed a 3 year recording/publishing/management deal with British Record Label f2f Music Limited. After a VIP signing hosted by The British Ambassador to Malta at her lovely residence on
the 9th April 2009, I was soon appearing on the best TV, radio and live event shows in my beautiful country Malta. My debut single 'The Clapping Song' a remake of the 1960s Shirley Ellis classic, was playing on everyone's
iPods in Malta. The single made it to number 1 on The People's charts and remained there for a record 3 weeks. 'The Clapping Song' had its UK release on the 8th June 2009 and is currently
play listed in a lot of Main Radio Stations across Britain. Immediately after the song was released in Europe and is currently doing very well in Spain, Cyprus, Monaco, and Greece. Soon
I will be headlining 2 big festivals in Malta and with a tour of London planned by my hard working Record label f2f Music Limited for August 2009, everything seems to be going great for me. Its a good start for me as i live my childhood dream. But before
I go I must thank the people who mean so much to me... Graham Mulvein Record label Managing Director and Co Manager, Elton Zarb My Music Producer, My Family and all my fabulous team (they know who they are) who all work so hard for me. I wish to God that one day,
I will be able to become an Internationally recognized artist, and when my music is doing great around the World,
I will be able to share the success with them all. That is my promise. Well
thank you very much Dikesh Prajapati and Recesscafe Team for your kind support. Love Sophie xx (

Born on 20th April 1994 to a
Maltese father and English mother Sophie with her first song on public at the
age of 8, made her parents realize she was born to stand out in the crowd. In
2004 she was lucky enough to be one of the 40 artists selected to perform for
the Welcome EU Celebrations and she was also tasted TV success for the
first time when she was chosen to become the resident artist on the TV series
Fit Tajjeb u il Hazin’ on TVM.
In 2005, Sophie was selected as the
Goodwill Ambassador at the annual charity festival Heart of Gold and got to sing
with a 9 piece live band to a 4000 capacity sell out crowd, and she was the
youngest artist invited to sing before Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, at The
CHOGM Malta. In September 2006, Sophie’s own composition Extra Cute, won
the Junior Eurovision Malta Final and she was hugely honoured to
represent Malta at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest Final, that year in
Romania.
In 2007 Sophie participated in the
Live Earth Malta Festival and she was thrilled to become the resident guest
artist on TVM’s Hadd Ghalik playing to an estimated 80,000 viewers every
Sunday. In 2008, Sophie featured in the Maltese summer entertainment Showbiz

choreographed major parts of the show, sang songs and even found time to write
the lyrics to the title song. Later that year the entire cast was invited to
London, to play 2 very special performances; UK Malta Day Celebrations at
Westminster Cathedral Hall and at Young Performers UK at the Shaftesbury
Theatre, in London’s West End. Both performances received standing ovations from
packed audiences.
In November Sophie’s father sent her
promotional video to a British indie Record Label who were searching for a
talented singer/songwriter who they wanted to develop and eventually launch. In
the meantime Sophie ended the year scoring a huge personal success playing
Sharply Evans onstage in the Maltese production of Disney’s High School
Musical. In early January 2009 Sophie was shortlisted to the final 3 people
from thousands by the British indie record label f2f Music limited, as a
result of their global search for a talented singer songwriter. Then in late
January the record company had made their choice and signed Sophie to a 3 year
recording, publishing, and management deal. Sophie was thrilled to be given this
golden opportunity, as this is what she had always been dreaming of.
Immediately after this, Sophie teamed
up with Maltese producer, Elton Zarb to work and create her debut single ‘The
Clapping Song’, a cover of the 1960s Shirley Ellis classic. In the meantime
f2f Music flew Sophie to London for an exclusive photo shoot with leading
rock n roll photographer Sam Seager. This was an amazing experience for her and
it gave her a massive boost of confidence.
On the 9th April 2009, The
British High Commissioner to Malta, hosted a VIP reception in her magnificent
residence, to celebrate Sophie’s official signing to f2f Music. In May 2009
Sophie’s version of ‘The Clapping Song’ was doing amazingly well in
Malta. It hit the Malta radio charts and managed to spend a record 3 weeks at
number 1 on ‘The Malta People’s Music Chart’. Sophie was invited to be the
Special Guest star and perform at the ‘Hannah Montana Movie Premiere’. On
the 8th June 2009 ‘The Clapping Song’ was released in the UK
and on mainland Europe. The result was is that it is currently being play listed

year at The Diet Coke Malta Fashion Awards, performing live in front of 5000
fans and an estimated TV audience of 1.5 billion people, and at the Melita Malta
Football Awards. Her fan base continues to grow and her web site

On 6th July she officially
will be releasing her second single ‘K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple Stupid)’, a
single co-written by Sophie and her producer, Elton Zarb. The single will be officially released in Malta with
